Podcast: Founder's secret tool

They are the hidden treasure.

Hey ,

What’s the biggest source of education these days?

College. I made a good joke, right?

Books and podcasts.

Podcasts are not yet as big as books, and they might never be, but for founders, there are some gems out there.

Today, taking a breather from practices or problems, I’m sharing the top 5 podcasts that provide an incredible amount of value.

(I personally watch every single one of them, and so do some top founders from Silicon Valley.)

Founders, especially, can learn productivity hacks, time management techniques, and personal development strategies.

3) Masters of Scale with Reid Hoffman

It's the best podcast to learn about scaling businesses, building a strong team, and innovating in competitive markets.

4) The Tony Robbins Podcast

This has to be on the list :)

5) The StartUp Podcast by Gimlet Media

It’s the underdog podcast.

Click to listen

This documentary-style podcast follows the behind-the-scenes journey of starting a business, including the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.

With this podcast, we founders can relate to the real-life challenges and successes faced by other entrepreneurs.

These podcasts offer a blend of inspiration, practical advice, and real-world stories that can really help us founders scale our startups better.

Now, a big dilemma for us founders: How do we make time for listening to podcasts amidst our busy schedules?

Here’s what I do (and you can do it as well):

  • Listen during commuting, exercising, cooking, or doing household chores.

  • Set aside 20-30 minutes each morning or evening for a podcast.

  • Listen to short podcast segments during breaks throughout the day.

  • Increase playback speed to 1.5x or 2x to consume content faster.

  • Select episodes that are most relevant to current challenges or interests.

  • Make podcast listening a team activity. (Amazing practice to do)

  • Use podcast summarizers in case of time crunch.

I know you are high-performing founders who want to make a big impact, and these podcasts can surely help you with that.

If you have any podcasts recommendations, reply to me so that they can help other founders in the community.

Thanks for taking out your precious time for reading this.
