Entrepreneurship don't have age limit!

It requires innovation and strong will.

Hello ,

Only young people can become entrepreneurs, right?

Well, this is the common notion among general people, but it’s absolutely bullsh*t.

Because this weekend I met a gem of a founder who is building amazing things at the age of 65.

So, I want to share with you an incredibly story of a founder who defied age stereotypes to embrace entrepreneurship and achieve remarkable success.

Here is the story of Tony, in his own words:

Growing up in a poor family, I always harboured big dreams. Despite the challenges, I harboured a deep-seated desire to make something significant out of my life.

However, fear of the unknown and the comfort of stability kept me from taking the entrepreneurial leap.

After completing my graduation, I took the safe route and joined a tech company, where I dedicated 30 years of my life. (I still regret it till this day.)

During those years, I worked diligently, contributing to projects that earned the company millions but left me with little more than a regular paycheck, an annual bonus, and a sense of unfulfillment.

As I approached retirement, the realization that I had spent decades working for someone else's dream deepened my resolve to finally pursue my own.

Retirement could have been the end of my professional life, but for me, it marked a new beginning. I was 62, full of ideas, and more importantly, I had nothing to lose.

I decided to channel my years of experience into creating a tech product that could make a difference.

The idea was simple yet ambitious—a no-code platform that allowed anyone to create a complete website with its backend fully functional.

With a clear vision (and high hopes), I teamed up with a few enthusiastic college students who brought fresh perspectives and technical skills that complemented my industry knowledge. (These guys made me feel young.)

Together, we spent six months developing the platform, ironing out the kinks, and preparing for launch.

The platform went live, and to my delight, we secured almost 100 users within the first two months. It was a modest start, but it confirmed that there was a market for our product.

Recognizing the potential of our venture, we pitched to investors, and soon, funding followed. With the necessary capital, we scaled up operations, refined our marketing strategy, and expanded our reach.

In just three years, the company's valuation neared $60 million—a figure I once thought was only possible in dreams.

Today, at 65, not only have I built a successful business, but I've also achieved a deep sense of personal fulfilment. I'm finally working on something that is truly mine, something that reflects my vision and hard work.

My biggest learning at 65 is:

Don’t wait. There is never a 'perfect' time to start. Life is too short for regrets, and while there are no guarantees, the risk is worth the reward.

One thing was clear to me on a call: If you have a dream, pursue it with all your heart, regardless of your age.
