Coffee can decrease your performance

Everything in limit is good.

Hey ,

How many cups of coffee do you consume?

For us, founders, coffee is our close friend which helps us in staying up at night, gives a quick dose of energy, and calms our taste buds.

But if you are drinking more than 4 cups of coffee, then it’s time to control it.

Today at glance:

1. Why coffee is good in limit?
2. Overconsumption of coffee can be really detrimental.
3. 5 simple things that helped me reduce my intake within 7 days (and can help you as well).

But we can’t say that Coffee is bad because drinking (right amount of coffee) has lot of health benefits:

  • Alertness: Coffee boosts wakefulness, aiding focus.

  • Cognitive Boost: Enhances memory and concentration.

  • Energy: Combats fatigue, sustaining productivity.

  • Mood Enhancement: Lifts mood, reduces stress.

  • Socializing: Facilitates networking and collaboration.

But anything consumed beyond certain limit starts doing harm than benefits.

Coffee’s main component is caffeine and research suggest only to consume up to 400mg per day for health adults.

(But consume even lesser than that)

Here’s the UGLY truth:

To sum up this is what over-consumption can do:

Seems daunting, right?

But trust me I was in the same position BUT with these 5 tips I was able to reduce my coffee intake within 7 DAYS.

Here’s what I did (and it can help you as well):

  1. Morning Yoga Routine: Begin your day with gentle stretches and calming poses like Child's Pose or Cat-Cow to set a positive tone and reduce the urge for immediate caffeine.

  2. Hydration Habits: Increase water intake throughout the day to stay hydrated and avoid mistaking thirst for fatigue. Herbal teas or infused water offer refreshing alternatives to coffee.

  3. Herbal Supplements: Explore energizing herbal supplements like ashwagandha or ginseng to maintain energy levels without caffeine's jolt.

  4. Yoga Nidra Practice: Incorporate Yoga Nidra into your evening routine to promote restful sleep and reduce the need for caffeine the next day.

  5. Mindful Eating: Opt for balanced meals rich in whole grains, lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables to stabilize energy levels and reduce reliance on coffee for quick boosts.

It would have seemed easy, right? Because for you, it is easy.
